Introduction
The emphasis on good quality photographs cannot be stressed enough when talking about online marketing. A lot has changed over the last twenty years. Back then, the norm was large volumes of information and tiny images to compensate for limited bandwidth speeds. Now with broadband speeds improving almost daily, your modern website visitor expects less information and large, good quality images.
Portfolio
My current hourly rate is R500 - all time spent shooting, processing, packaging and delivering images is timesheet based. Once we have had a chat and I understand what is required, I can give you time and cost estimates.
Once we have scheduled and completed the photoshoot, I take the necessary time to process/edit the photos and get them delivered to you, either via Google Drive or WeTransfer.com
Delivery of processed images is normally two days after the photoshoot. I deliver multiple sets of images, each at different resolutions i.e. website, full resolution and booking.com (for accommodation establishments). All images are named, compressed and resized accordingly.
I would say I enjoy my interior and landscape photography most, this is where my editing skills shine. Then I enjoy the occasional food photoshoot, especially if I get to enjoy the subject matter afterwards. Looking for an affordable wedding photographer? Look no further.
Yes. I make use of HDR photography, a specific style of photo with an unusually high dynamic range that couldn't otherwise be achieved in a single photograph. This essentially means shadows are brought forward and highlights are pushed back, resulting in fantastic results in difficult shooting conditions.
Photo editing plays and important role as it gives each image that wow-factor! See my notes below on photo editing.
Absolutely... jump on board while this marketing technique is trending! This is specifically applicable to larger properties where there is a lot to see. Browse my aerial footage page for more information.
Photo Editing
Would you believe me if I told you the two images above are from the same photo? The image on the right is the finished product after applying cropping, rotating, adjustments to the saturation/exposure/shadows and a few clouds added.
